We just had our hardwood medications without a prescription floors professionally refinished and I would like to know the best way to clean them without causing damage.

Don’t use the siwffer: here is an article that compares the swiffer to this product called the Bona: its amazing! Bona wins of course… its eco– the pads are washable so you dont waste $$ on new pads every month like the swiffer.. etc. heres the face off they had… people compared the two:

I have them too, and I like the Swiffer wet jet, because it doesn’tget the floors too wet, which can cause them to get water damage.
The main thing with hardwood floors is to keep dirt, dust, and especially sand off the floor. So try to sweep at least a couple times a week. Sweeping keeps the dirt and sand from scratching the floor.
You will need a few things to throughly clean the floor (all these can be found at a hardware store or a janitorial store):
– A good broom
– A high-grade hardwood floor cleaner
– A micro-fiber dust mop
In order to clean the floor throughly, first sweep the floor. Then spray the floor with the cleaner. Make sure to read the directions. Last of all use the mop to wipe the floor clean. Most cleaners don’t need to be followed by rinsing with water, but make sure to read the directions (just in case you buy one of the few that does).
Last of all enjoy a clean hardwood floor.
