I have wood floors under the carpet in my house. cheap drugs without prescription i want to get rid of the carpet and have nice wood floors. how do i redo them? what places can i call to get a quote on redoing the floors? and how long does the whole process usually take?
the previous owners had cats that i think may have damaged the floor in ways only a cat could. is that something that can be fixed by refinishing a floor?

Redoing hardwood floors takes a great deal of time, sweat, and elbow grease.
Floors of fifty square feet or less can be sanded by hand, but for any floor larger than that, rent or buy a small orbital sander.Everything necessary for doing it yourself will be available at your local hardware store. You can buy a pretty good electric sander nowadays for less than $100, which can be a good investment, especially if you’re planning to work on your home on a regular basis.
First find out what the condition of the wood is . It may just need a good cleaning and polish . If you have a floor and tile store go their and ask for name and numbers of floor contractors .
call up floor refinishes they are in the yellow pages about three days to do a floor
If they are solid wood floors, then they can be refinished. If the cat urine sat on the wood for extended amounts of time, then sanding alone may not remove the stain spots, but the odor will probably go away. If you have really damaged spots, then a flooring contractor could replace those boards first. Go with a medium to dark color to hide any imperfections. Hire a professional. It will take about 3 days to complete. Check the yellow pages under floor laying and refinishing. Good Luck!
