the house is about 50 years old, i just got it. for the past 12 years there was a indoor/outdoor carpet glued on the floors (with lots of very very nasty glue). I have sanded them 3 times and I now realize they really arenever going to look to good. Want to do Buy Ampicillin Online without prescription somethings with the wood – anybody ever paint on unevenly stained and damaged wood? Any ideas (other then carpeting or continue sanding) would be truly appreciated.

put down a good floor stain primer/sealer. get this info at the home depot/Lowe’s/whatever store. then paint it with the best paint for floors. you can do a pattern like a rug..from decorating books or give it an antiqued finish or sponge. even do distressed which sounds like would suit the abused wood best..you can find a book on different distressing techniques
use funiture striper
Such floors are Oak and you can sand them down to look like new Wood,- stick with it and rent a Real Floor sander.
I’m not sure how the paint would do on your damaged wood, but here’s a thought,

I’m not sure if $ is an issue, but it might be more cost effective to just replace the floor with something like this.
good luck!
build a bok case with the wood and tile the floor easy maintenece free
you could paint them with a good polyurethane better yet have them professionally refinished
Rip up the floor and put down new oak. No laminate floor, no carpet, no patch job. For about $2 – $3 a square foot and with care will last 100 years.
