Garbage installation. You have to install hardwood flooring without the baseboards on with at least a 1/4 in of room for expansion and contraction of the house through the seasons. You can’t just butt hardwood up to the baseboards like that, it’s plain wrong. Install baseboards at the end. i just installed 1700 sq ft of 5 1/4 oak looks great and a lot of work.
I do understand, and just how far should you slip the hardwood under the base board, you can’t tell. This install is wrong. And how ar you going to stop me from criticizing the install. I can criticize it all I want to.
That’s because there is another peice that goes over the gap between the flooring and the baseboard. It usually matches the floor and it is called a “roller base”.
is it okay to do hardwood flooring on top of parkay wood?
should an underlay material be used?
what do you do if the floor if its popping up and not level?
Speed isn’t everything, but I guess it impresses most people. Agreed about the closeness of the end joints.
Installing with the baseboards on and with 3 inch spacing between ends?? Shitty install job.

How do you suppose the hardwood floor gets slipped under baseboard on the opposite side of the floor. maybe you should understand the situation.

lol@people always arguing on youtube…knowing if it were “real life”…no one could stand up to each other lol
Just in case anybody is wondering, that guy is working a LOT faster than any DIY” weekend warrior” homeowner is likely to manage.
this guy must have been a roofer at some point?
Dude his staples are way to close to each other at least 4 to 6 inches apart
