Installing with the baseboards on and with 3 inch spacing between ends?? Shitty install job.
Garbage installation. You have to install hardwood flooring without the baseboards on with at least a 1/4 in of room for expansion and contraction of the house through the seasons. You can’t just butt hardwood up to the baseboards like that, it’s plain wrong. Install baseboards at the end. i just installed 1700 sq ft of 5 1/4 oak looks great and a lot of work.
The floor slips under the baseboards! Understand the situation before you go and critisise the install
damn stretch, the freaking baseboards are on the subfloor, the woods not slipping under, sad excuse!
I do understand, and just how far should you slip the hardwood under the base board, you can’t tell. This install is wrong. And how ar you going to stop me from criticizing the install. I can criticize it all I want to.
How do you suppose the hardwood floor gets slipped under baseboard on the opposite side of the floor. maybe you should understand the situation.

That’s because there is another peice that goes over the gap between the flooring and the baseboard. It usually matches the floor and it is called a “roller base”.

so much space between your first staple and the rest. Its like one staple two feet of space then three or four four inches apart
