I am a flooring installer, and your right it is not rocket science. With that said there is many tricky parts i.e cutting around door jambs, floor ventilation grates, that takes about a year or more to master.
There are tricky parts, a profiler can help with them. I’m not saying it’s easy, but not that hard, you’ll never know unless you try
Hi Bob, I am not sure what this reply means. But as one floorer says to the other “lets get in done”.
lets get it done, then go for beer….:)
Sounds good man!
How does one become a floor installer? I am a bench joiner and I am finding it very hard to further my career at the moment. Eventually I want to become a property developer, so I want to learn how to install flooring. Any tips on how to go about this?
Nice work. keep it up. mean time come for social media marketing for esteembpo**com wedsad
easy waist of money using the 3inch tape 1/2 or 1 ich will do
is this a joke?
why would you carry the carpet out whole… it’s called a knife jackass.
Why would specify a notch size on a trowel for leveling when it’s the flat side that is needed…
lol
ya be a helper fore at leest 3 years. and never learn from this type of crap!!! this is a joke
cutting around door jambs ? you meen under door jams under cut lol

lol
You know that is what I meant, calling all cards are we?
lol ok. works slow hear in up up state ny. im just bored
Can’t be any slower than in New Hampshire.
What a joke — Amatures at best,
1 cut the demo into smaller chunks for ease of demo.
2 Scrape(with scraper not prybar) and VACCUUM with a good vacuum(after undercutting jambs and r/ base)
Now moisture test-
3 Use PORTLAND based floor patch for leveling.
4 You NEED to leave room for expansion
5 This installation WILL have problems down the road.
LOL sry
this floor will for sure have problems in the future, the wood is now fixed to the concrete floor, both materials expand and contract at different rates, even if the adhiesive was very elastic this floor will still have popping and cracking issues.
im getting wood floors 2marrow
it is not that easy… this is not how it should be done!!!
Could they have possibly done a more half-ass job sweeping the concrete? Hell they barely even cleaned up that crack before they patched it!
Sloppy work – painful to watch.
