My husband has no experience with refinishing hardwood floors and didn’t research the best way to do (just got misleading tips from a friend). We sanded our oak hardwood floors an then my husband stained it with Minwax ebony stain. The next day I looked and it is uneven and lighter in some places. What would be the best way to fix it? Would applying more stain in certain areas work or make it stand out? Please don’t say we have to sand it again!

I MOVED INTO A HOUSE WITH THE ORIGINAL HARDWOOD FLOORS REFINISHED. THE THING IS THE FLOORS ARE REALLY COLD. IF I INSTALL CARPET WILL THE PROCESS MESS THE FLOORS UP?

My friend and I wanted to start a hardwood floor refinishing business. This would be part time to start with, in addition to our full time jobs. He actually did this under someone for a while but that was about 5 years ago. I was just wondering if there was anyone here who owns that type of business and if so what you charge a square foot and how do you like it.
