$3 – $5 a Sq. Ft is a good rough price for refinishing. As others have said, the cost is determined by many factors. how good of a job the person will do generally is directly connected to how much money the person is making. In my business we do not underbid jobs, at the same time we do not overbid them either. I have found in 15 yrs the people I do business with are so much happier. They are not the ones looking for the very cheapest price (there is no pleasing these Levitra people). And they are not the ones that are mad because they have overpaid the job. My advice get three or four quotes and go with the middle one. Also it does not hurt to ask for references or recent jobs that they have completed. As for laying the rest of the house in hrdwd. Prices are going to range anywhere from $6 – $40 a Sq. Ft. installed depending on the type of wood you buy. Hope this helps.
